The Master of Engineering Science programme is a career development and enhancement programme for graduate engineers with opportunities for cross training, re-training and advanced level technical specialisation.
The specialisation in Photovoltaics and Solar Energy is designed to build on the previous education of engineers from other engineering disciplines who are currently being attracted to the booming solar photovoltaic energy industry. Students undertake courses from the areas of photovoltaic devices and photovoltaic systems and applications.
Admission to postgraduate coursework requires a completed undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study from a recognised tertiary institution. Selection is based on academic merit and applicants with a good first degree have excellent prospects of being accepted.
The admission to Masters requires a Bachelor of Engineering degree plus one year experience, Graduate Diploma; Bachelor degree plus 3 years experience and Graduate Certificate requires Higher School Certificate plus five years experience.
