The CSU's Marketing programs aim to prepare graduates to meet challenges in a broad range of management positions requiring advanced marketing skills.
The Master of Management (Chartered Marketer) is the first of its kind - an industry based, advanced marketing qualification that demonstrates specialist professional knowledge across many areas for marketers working at a senior strategic level. Students can commence the course in any of our three teaching sessions each year.
The Chartered Marketer status is the marketing industry's highest grade and is awarded exclusively by the Chartered Institute of Marketing in recognition of outstanding practical experience and expertise. CSU is the only institution in Australia to offer the Chartered Marketer Master qualification.
The aim of this course is to provide marketing professionals with the ability and skills to promote a proactive and strategic marketing focus within the management structure of an organisation. This will include developing skills in strategic management and leadership to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are engaged and marketing activities align with organisational strategy and values.
Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
• implement an informed and reflexive perspective of management,
• acquire knowledge of, and have the ability to apply, general management related principles and practices,
• develop strategic marketing responses to emerging organisational themes,
• undertake a marketing audit that identifies key values and opportunities,
• develop and utilise a range of tools that assess the impact of the marketing decision across the wider organisation,
