UTS City campus is the most accessible campus in New South Wales. It is located right in the heart of Sydney's cosmopolitan central business district (CBD) and north shore.
The campus is only ten minutes walk from Central railway station and Central bus interchange, and even closer to the Sydney light rail. It lies on Broadway, one of the main roads through the Sydney CBD. So when you've had enough studying, all of Sydney's sights and attractions are a short walk or bus ride away.
Within walking distance are the Market City shopping and Reading Cinema complex, the Broadway shopping mall, historic China Town, the Entertainment Centre and Darling Harbour's public parks, gardens and amenities.
A short bus ride along cosmopolitan George Street takes you to Sydney's thriving commercial sector; theatres and cinemas; world-class shopping in the Queen Victoria Building, Victoria Galleries and Pitt Street Mall; and peaceful formal parklands with classical sculptures and fountains. From there it's a quick bus ride to Sydney's trendiest nightlife, bars and clubs along Oxford Street.
Twenty minutes from the City campus is beautiful Sydney Harbour. Here, you can sit outdoors with a view of the Sydney Opera House and sample Sydney's excellent cuisine. Visit the historic buildings of The Rocks, Sydney's first colonial settlement. Or stroll along the foreshore into the Royal Botanic Gardens for some peace, fresh air and magnificent harbour views.
