About the institution
In this course you will gain professional training in food science and technology. Graduates of science, applied science, engineering, agricultural and other related disciplines qualify for this course.

Graduates will be equipped to work in the food industry at various management levels. The course is designed to not only train recent graduates as food technologists, but enable those already employed in food and associated industries to enhance their professional status.

There are two main ways to apply for courses at Victoria University: through the Victoria Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTACVictorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) or by applying directly to VU.
Admission information

To qualify for admission to the course an applicant must have satisfactorily completed a four year science based undergraduate degree, or a science based honours degree, or a three year science based undergraduate degree plus relevant employment experience.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications may be admitted after the completion of an approved course of pre-study, or on submission of such other evidence of academic, professional or vocational attainment to indicate that the applicant possesses the educational preparation and capacity to pursue the course.
