About the institution
Visit the best exhibition of Naval and general aviation history in Australia. The recently completed purpose-built hangar (6000m2) is situated at HMAS Albatross Airfield Nowra and houses over 30 fixed & rotary wing aircraft, including a WW1 Sopwith Pup, Sea Venom & Vampires, A4GSkyhawk, MIG 15 & 17's and helicopters including Bell Iroquois & Sioux, and Bristol Sycamore. There is also a Naval art gallery, Vietnam Naval Flight and general air weapons displays and artifacts. The Museum and Hangar Tour is guided by a Naval aviation expert. On conclusion there will be lunch (BYO or purchase) overlooking the airfield and free time.
