Health Studies Year 12 facilitates the development of knowledge and understandings about health, develops self-management and interpersonal skills and promotes health enhancing attitudes and values that enable students to make informed decisions relevant to healthy lifestyle practices. Areas covered include road trauma, orthodox and complementary health care and lifestyle, environment and health, lifestyle diseases and sexuality and drug issues. This course would be beneficial for those students considering a vocation in a variety of occupations within the health, social and community services.
This College specializes in providing educational opportunities for adults returning to education, those wishing to improve their educational qualifications or those who wish to take part in their adult continuing education short courses. In addition, to these courses, a variety of programs are offered for international students wishing to gain entry into university or TAFE.
