This course covers a broad spectrum of oil painting, including still life and landscapes, mixing and build-up of colour, and the development of composition, and dimension. Beginners and those who have painted before are welcome as every student receives individual tuition and works at their own pace.
In 1979 members of the Ringwood Church of Christ decided to expand their community work by developing a Community Centre (CRCC). In those early days Playgroups, Senior Citizens Groups and an After School Program were formed. Funding for staff was received in 1980. The Centre was managed by Voluntary Staff until this time. The Centre was operating from a house owned by the church. In December of 1991, the house was gutted by fire. The new Community Centre in Bedford Park, Ringwood was officially opened on the 26th of March 1993.
