This course will inspire the students to create their own designs. Starting with a tape measure, Tutor will show them how to measure themselves correctly and draft a first block/pattern that fits them perfectly. Once this is done they will be shown how to create numerous designs. Working on skirts, bodices, sleeves, collars and trousers they will be able to create their own notebook for reference. Prerequisite: basic understanding of commercial patterns or Sewing Skills: Understanding Patterns. For their first class they will require: HB pencil, 3 Coloured pencils or pens, Rubber, Glue stick/sticky tape, A4 Note pad, Small ruler, 3 to 4 sheets of A4 coloured paper, Paper scissors, Tape measurer.
