Learn to be a sports massage therapist, sports trainer or strength and conditioning specialist. You will develop business and sport and recreation core competencies relating to client services; development of teams and the implementation of projects; legal responsibilities and risk analysis. You will have the opportunity to specialise in massage therapy, sports training or strength and conditioning. You can also develop coaching competencies to facilitate the support of athletes in order to maintain or improve the performance and wellbeing of individuals and/or teams. You should be aware that you may be required to be in physical contact with other students or simulated clients but this will always be practised and applied in accordance with industry codes of practice and ethics.
