This course consists of a bank of units drawn from the Information and Communication Technology Training Package ICA05. It has been designed as a general-purpose course intended for people who want specific training in a range of information technology areas related to their work or training needs at the Certificate I and Certificate II level. This course provides employment opportunities such as office assistant or equivalent at a junior level. When they finish this course they may be eligible for advanced standing in several other information technology courses.
Students must complete the application form with copies of all requested documentation and mail or deliver it to the Course Application Centre at the campus of their first course preference.
This campus is situated adjacent to Lake Macquarie, on the Pacific Highway at the southern end of the Belmont Central Business District. The campus offers a range of specialised courses including Information Technology, Business, Engineering, General Education, Carpentry and Joinery, Electrical Trades and Environmental Studies.
