This course is for adults from language backgrounds other than English who have extremely limited English. Students will learn how to listen, speak, read and write in English. This will help them to participate in the Australian community, progress in their job or do further study. Before students enrol in this course they need to have an interview. The interview will help to make sure this is the right course for them, in terms of their current English language skills and their future goals.
Ballina is a resort town nestled at the entrance of the Richmond River in northern New South Wales. It is renowned for the quality of beaches, the most famous being at nearby Lennox Head and Byron Bay. Ballina campus is a specialist centre for maritime programs as well as providing entry-level vocational education and training programs across areas such as general education, information technology, office administration, sport and recreation and retail.
