This unit will help students to understand key principles of mission strategy and cross-cultural communication, and to apply these to mission planning, church planting and church growth ministries. A selection of the following will be addressed: a theological and practical rationale for strategy and planning, and appropriate resources; strategies for mission and factors to consider in planning such strategies; motivation, goals and methods in Christian witness; introduction to church growth principles and strategies developed from research and their application.

Tabor Adelaide is housed in historic heritage listed buildings which are National Trust listed and have served in the past as an orphanage and more recently an Education Centre. The campus is located within three kilometers of the Adelaide CBD on a main bus route. It is located in a pleasant residential area and is surrounded by beautiful parklands.
