This course is for people who want to develop the knowledge and skills needed to apply AED (Automated External Defibrillation). The student will learn to recognise the signs of sudden cardiac arrest implement the Chain of Survival and prepare for and safely apply AED. The student will learn to communicate details of any incident and how to restore and maintain the AED equipment for future use.
All new applicants will need to come to the campus administration for admission. Applicants applying for application courses can apply online. For courses that have statutory age requirement applicants will need to bring proof of age. Students will need to provide evidence to be eligible for any exemption.
Learner Support is provided free at almost all TAFE NSW campuses. There are day and evening classes and Child care facilities are available
