This course provides an introduction to the principles of teaching creative writing. It focuses on three areas of teaching creative writing from defining creativity, classroom activities to encourage creativity in writing, and assessing student achievement. Participates in the workshop will develop practical teaching skills and the ability to reflect on and improve their understanding of how students write creatively.
