This course is for registered or licensed plumbers or water plumbers who want to learn how to service, install and commission thermostatic mixing valves. They will be required to read resource material which will be provided before the course commences. Written tests will be held after completing each topic, with a final written examination on completion of all modules. Practical skills are also assessed. Topics in this course include: Introduction and safety; codes and authorities, valves and ancillaries; valve installation; and location of TMVs. They will also learn about: Plan reading and design; hot water systems; the role of management; and commissioning testing certification. This is a TAFE Statement program.
