Training and Assessment Certificate IV (NRT)

This course specifies the competencies required to recognise current
skills, to deliver training in an industry area or area of subject matter
expertise, and to conduct competency based assessment in a range of
contexts.

It will enable participants to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes
required to competently perform the role of a skilled trainer and
facilitator and assessor in the Workplace and the VET sector generally.

Participants satisfying the evidence requirements will be able to:
- create a meaningful learning environment;
- design learning processes and products;
- develop the skills and knowledge to manage the learning process;
- develop skills in assessment;
- provide learner support and consultancy services in training and/or
assessment;
- coordinate trainers/assessors in their work and develop quality assurance
systems.

This course is suitable for people who are required by their workplace to
develop skills in the delivery of training and assessment programs,
especially where required by a Registered Training Organisation for
quality purposes.

People with this qualification can become industry trainers and assessors
in areas of their vocation or expertise.
