This program is a specialist area of surveying involving the measurement, representation and management of data associated with a mining operation. Mine surveyors are responsible for marking out, measuring and maintaining direction of all surface and underground workings on a mine site. The course is designed to produce surveyors with specialist knowledge of underground and surface mines and knowledge of engineering surveying. Mine and engineering surveyors are employed in the mining and construction industries.
Students must complete and send in the students Application form to Curtin International College, at Curtin University of Technology, GPO Box U1987, Western Australia 6845 Australia. Students must submit their certified copies of all the academic qualifications (school reports and official examination certificates), evidence of English competency if requested, any employment documents that they may wish to have considered, certified translations for all documents that are not in English. These documents can be certified by the official records department of the institute that originally issued the documents, a Justice of the Peace or Public Notary, an authorised CIC representative or an Australian overseas diplomatic mission or Australian Education Centre.
