Broome is easily accessible by bicycle. Its many bike paths, including one that meanders past the University entrance gates, means the town centre, tranquil Roebuck Bay or the magical Indian Ocean are all accessible within a matter of minutes. The Broome Campus is situated on the local public transport route and taxis provide another efficient and cheap alternative.
Walking through the Broome Campus grounds is like walking through a national park. Tropical birds dance in the branches of native trees, river stone tables are set in amongst lush ferns to allow for a unique studying atmosphere. And as the wet season approaches the flowers on the frangipani trees open and the fruit on the mango trees begins to ripen.
