The Course in Vocational Numeracy - Preliminary will provide you with the opportunity to gain specific numeracy skills required in a vocational or work environment, meet numeracy requirements to gain entry into a range of vocational qualifications, and gain numeracy related employability skills. This course is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
1. When you have selected your preferred course to undertake, check that you have met the entry requirements and have the necessary documents needed for the enrollment. If you do not meet the entry requirements, call Career Australia to find out about bridging subjects or classes that would aid your entry into the programme.
2. Contact Careers Australia to confirm on the course's location, commencement dates and fees. These information are subject to changes.
International students:
Some courses offered by Careers Australia are not applicable to international students, while some short courses that are less than three (3) months may not require a student visa. Please ensure that you check your visa eligibility with Careers Australia or the appointed Careers Australia representative before submitting an application.
3. Download the enrolment form from Careers Australia's website, and send it back to Careers Australia. The details are included in the application form.
4. Once your application has been assessed and is successful, you will receive a confirmation from Careers Australia. Some courses may require you to purchase textbooks or uniforms prior to the classes' start dates, please ensure that you have these items ready before you start the course.
