AUSTRALIAN COLLEGE OF THEOLOGY

The Australian College of Theology (ACT) was established in 1891 by the Church of England in Australia. The College offers a wide range of accredited higher education programmes catering to the specialised needs of ministerial and missionary candidates. It also offers courses for laymen interested in an understanding of the Christian faith.

These programmes range from 2-year diplomas, 3-year undergraduate and coursework masters degrees to masters and doctoral research degrees. ACT’s degrees are accredited by the higher education authorities in each state.

The ACT is also the national provider of state accredited higher education programmes in theology. It also works in partnership with the Anglican Church of Australia.

International students are welcome to undertake programmes at the ACT's affiliated colleges, which are authorised to enroll international students. ACT has afiliated colleges across these states in Australia and New Zealand:

• Victoria and
• Western Australia.
