CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Central Institute of Technology, AKA Central TAFE, is Western Australia's first post-secondary education institution, having run its first classes in 1900.

Now one of Australia’s largest VET colleges, Central TAFE trains more than 25,000 students, including 1300 from overseas.

They offer around 400 nationally accredited courses in business, management and finance, creative and digital, engineering, English, community access, health, science, sport, education and languages.

Full-time applications to Central TAFE can be made online at www.tafe.wa.edu.au. Step by step instructions for completing the online form are provided. Application forms will also be available from any Central TAFE campus or by contacting Student Services on 1300 300 822. Faxed applications are not acceptable, so send your application to: TAFE Admissions Centre PO Box 7810, Cloisters Square Perth WA 6850 or hand it in at any TAFE campus. Supporting documentation includes photocopies of: all academic records since Year 9; any graduation certificates (including TAFE awards); any other results that you want taken into account; written proof (eg group certificates) of any work experience you have done. Part-time students should enrol in person at a specified campus and unless special entrance conditions apply, they do not need to fill out an application form.
