How to ApplyPlease use the following as a guide to enrolling in a South Australian government school. Please note that the application process may vary according to your country of origin. Step 1: Want to know more?Contact your education agent or view the school profiles for more information including subjects and special interest programs offered at our individual schools. Please contact International Education Services (IES) for a list of accredited agents in your area. Step 2: ApplyComplete the Application Form and return it with the required documents to your agent or International Education Services (IES): * two colour photographs * translated school reports for past two years * English language competency test results (if applicable) * translated statement from your current school * copy of Middle School graduation certificate (Chinese students only)Step 3: Letter of OfferYour application will be assessed after we receive it. If accepted, a school placement will be confirmed, then we will send you or your agent a Letter of Offer.Step 4: Acceptance and PaymentTo accept, return the Acceptance of Offer form and other required documents via your agent or to IES. Total payment required will be indicated in your Letter of Offer.Step 5: ConfirmationUpon receipt of your forms and full payment, we will send you a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE), Letter of Confirmation and Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) letter. (Students on a Tourist Visa do not require a COE or CAAW letter.)Step 6: Apply for your VisaApply to the Australian Embassy for your visa.Step 7: PreparationBook your flights to Adelaide and advise us of your flight details at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Find out about South Australia by reading, researching on the internet and talking to friends. We also send you a comprehensive Pre-Departure Pack full of useful information.Step 8: Arrival in AdelaideIf we have arranged a homestay for you we will meet you at Adelaide Airport and introduce you to your host family. Your agent or parents will also be notified of your safe arrival.
