WESTERN AUSTRALIAN AVIATION COLLEGE

The Western Australian Aviation College (WAAC), based at Jandakot Airport (Perth, Western Australia) is a registered flight-training provider with the Western Australia Department of Training and Employment.

The college provides pilot training and is approved to conduct European flight training in Australia. The WAAC’s courses also cover a spectrum of training required within the aviation industry.

These are the awards of certificates and qualifications that students attain upon the completion of their courses at WACC:

  • advanced diploma in aviation (for aeroplanes), this programme aims to provide an all-rounded training for a career in commercial aviation. Students can also choose to further their education in a university with the attainment of this advanced diploma.
  • Certificate IV in transport & distribution (aviation flight operations), and
  • integrated pilot licence (for aeroplanes). 


The college also offers correspondence programmes for attaining general knowledge and theories of the aviation industry. Individuals who already hold pilot licences are also able to take on courses at WACC to attain qualifications to ply European routes.
