WORLDVIEW CENTRE FOR INTERCULTURAL STUDIES

The Worldview Centre for Intercultural Studies is an approved higher education provider in Australia and all of its courses are accredited by the Tasmanian Qualifications Authority. The centre's courses mainly cover two broad areas in bible & theology and mission & culture in its graduate certificate, diplomas and associate degrees. The centre also offers English language courses for students whose first languages are not English.

Enrolment information
Applicants are to: - be a 'born-again' Christian, - be a member of and have at least one year’s service in a local church or fellowship, - have the commendation of the local church, - have evidence that they can undertake intensive studies and practical activities, i.e. the successful completion of a course of secular study/training, either trade or professional, - be in good physical fitness (a full medical examination is necessary) - be willing to do missionary service overseas - be at least nineteen years of age. Candidates for the degree program must satisfy one of the following criteria for entrance: - Australian students must have a TER score of over 50. - Mature applicants (over 21 years old) who may not qualify academically, may be considered for admission into the course at the discretion of the institution. Recognition of prior learning, work and ministry experience will also be taken into the consideration process. - Applicant may be asked to complete a preparation programme assignment (covering knowledge on Adult Learning, Study Skills and Assignment Writing Techniques) in order to qualify for entry to the degree programme.)
