TAFE SA offers all kinds of accounting and bookkeeping courses. You can learn the basics with a Certificate III or IV in Financial Services which covers the foundation skills. Alternatively you can choose to study a Diploma of Accounting, which takes 18 months full time, or choose a higher qualification with an Advanced Diploma of Accounting that takes 24 months full time. These qualifications will equip you with the skills you need to work in accounting.
If you want something more flexible, short courses are also available in Basic or Advanced bookkeeping, which are completed over 8 weeks in three hour sessions.
