Hi, I'm hoping to enroll in a Diploma of Horticulture to begin study in July sometime, do you offer a part-time Diploma which is accepting enrollments for this semester and if not can you tell me how many days a full-time Diploma requires a week - I work in a nursery part-time and need something I can work in with my employment.
A Diploma of Horticulture is between one year and 18 months full-time depending where you study. If you have prior learning or experience, you may be able to complete the course faster. Many TAFE institutions do offer July intakes but you should get your application in soon.
This course is often offered part-time in the evenings, or even online, so you can study whenever is most convenient to you. The Open Training and Education Network (OTEN) has a Diploma of Horticulture that you can complete at your own pace.Try contacting a few TAFE institutions in your area by searching on our site and filling out the contact form, or let me know where you live and I can do this for you.
