Hi Raminder,
In Australia, there are different nursing grades: Division 1 nurses (also known as registered nurses), who have a degree in nursing, and Division 2 nurses (also known as endorsed enrolled nurses) who have a Diploma in Nursing.
If you would like to study for a Bachelor of Nursing in Australia, you will need to check the entry requirements for each university. As an undergraduate, your All India Senior School Certificate is the equivalent of an Australian Year 12. You may need to show that you studied science and mathematics subjects at school.
If you are applying as an international student, you will also need to demonstrate your English language skills by passing an IELTS or TOEFL test.
If you are thinking of applying for a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Degree, you will need a good GPA (may vary between universities) and you will need to pass the GAMSAT test.
You can check the entry requirements of each university by making an enquiry from this site.
Good luck with your studies,
Sarah
