This is a 1 year course that provides ESL tuition for international students wanting to progress to further studies at Worldview or to work with a mission agency. In regards to accommodation, Worldwide is located in St Leonards, a rural suburb of Launceston, Tasmania.The central Worldview is located in St Leonards, a rural suburb of Launceston, Tasmania. The central business district offers plenty of contemporary shops, malls and restaurants to explore and enjoy. It also includes other recreational facilities such as the art gallery, museum and planetarium.
The campus itself is set on a 22-hectare property, adjoining the North Esk River. The original house dates all the way back to 1870 but is now surrounded by a number of modern buildings that comprise the academic and residential facilities.
Most of Worldview students live in self-contained two-bedroom units. These units are set up to house up to four single students, or two married couples, or one couple with two to three young children.
They are fully furnished, having basic cooking facilities, irons, bed linen, crockery and cutlery. All units have reverse cycle air conditioners. Communal laundry facilities include commercial washers and dryers.
Visitors are always welcomed and provided there’s room, your relatives and friends are most welcome to come and stay.
