TAFE South Australia has an introductory level short course in bookkeeping which you can follow with an advanced level bookkeeping short course. The basic level is ideal if you have limited knowledge in bookkeeping. You will learn how to set-up and maintain a manual bookkeeping system in compliance with taxation obligations. On completion of this short course, you may want to consider “Computerised Accounting with MYOB” with TAFE SA.
The Advanced Bookkeeping is a 7-week part time course. You will undertake practical exercises which cover entries for depreciation, end of year adjustments and the preparation of the financial statements.
