Brisbane North Institute of TAFE

Brisbane North Institute of TAFE (BNIT) offers nationally recognised Certificates and Diplomas, apprenticeships and short courses across a wide range of subjects. With strong links to industry and opportunities for practical experience, BNIT courses prepare students for fulfilling careers in their chosen industry.

Admission Scholarships

The Student Representative Council (SRC) provides annual grants for students who make a difference in their local community and/or motivate, inspire and mentor others from similar backgrounds. Applications from enrolled students close in October of each year. The Mick Young Scholarship Trust is also open to financially disadvantaged students. Applications from enrolled students close in February of each year.

BNIT offers a range of business courses through the Faculty of Business and Information Technology, including:

Business Administration
Management


Tourism and Hospitality courses

BNIT offers Certificate III and Diploma in Events, as well as Certificate III and Diploma in Tourism. For hospitality students, BNIT offers nationally recognised courses including Certificate II and Certificate III in Hospitality, as well as Diploma of Hospitality. BNIT also offers a range of short cooking courses in cuisines from around the world.


Facilities and services

BNIT offers students the opportunity to hone their skills through its on campus hair salon Swish, student training restaurant Polaris and animal grooming salon.

BNIT also provides Counselling, Disability, Indigenous, International, Learning and Student Support staff across all campuses to assist you to successfully complete your course.
