Certificate and Diploma Courses

Apprenticeships and Traineeships
BNIT offers a variety of apprenticeships and traineeship courses, allowing students to study while they work and also enhance their skills in their chosen occupation.
Apprenticeships can be full-time or part-time and their length will depend on any previous training undertaken.

TAFE Open Learning and My Learning
The My Learning Short Course Collection is offered through BNIT and TAFE Open Learning, offering students with a wide choice of non-accredited, short courses to upgrade skills, and nurture creative talents in employment-related areas. These courses typically involve two to three hours weekly over six to eight weeks, or involve full-day weekend workshops. TradeBiz

TradeBiz is specifically designed for tradespeople to enable them gain all the management skills and knowledge needed to operate a small trade business successfully. BNIT offers Tradebiz courses to eligible applicants on a part-time, evening basis.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

BNIT recognises students may already have obtained skills and knowledge through previous work/life experience, or prior study. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a recognition process established in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and could provide you with a full or part qualification, and avoid duplication of training.
