
Monash University is the best university in Australia to work for, according to a survey from UniJobs.co.au.
UniJobs.com.au asks university staff to rank their employer anonymously on a range of employment issues, including benefits, training and development, and overall management on an annual basis.
Monash University in Victoria scored 8.99 overall, with high scores in employee benefits, work hours, self satisfaction, training and development, multicultural development and disability.
In a statement, UniJobs said: "This initiative aims to make Australia's universities even better places to work, and to reward those who are simply the best universities to work for.
"All nominations are completely anonymous, and universities will be given the opportunity to view the results, all in an effort to better their services and policies towards maintaining staff satisfaction."
University of Queensland was a close second, with a score of 8.56, while University of Southern Queensland came in third at 8.26, University of Sydney fourth with 8.12 and Griffith University came fifth at 8.05.
West and South Australia was also represented, with Curtin University of Technology scoring 7.98 and University of South Australia scoring 7.87 respectively.
