Studying Graphic Design

Universities also offer graphic design courses, such as the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Graphic Design) which can take around three years to complete.

Skills needed in Graphic Design
There are a range of computer programs used in graphic design, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D studio, and Flash. Therefore, an ability to use and adapt to new technologies is important in graphic design.
Composition is a big part of graphic design, so having artistic and creative skills are also necessary. Similarly, communication skills are a must, as a graphic designer must be able to both understand and communicate ideas to clients and peers.
